Memorial services for Peggy Alexander were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 26. She was 70. Mrs. Alexander was born Nov. 24, 1934 in Gainesville, Fla. She and her husband, Lewis, were owners of the Pine Cove Center from 1975 to 1979 and then moved to the Hemet-San Jacinto area, where Mr. Alexander taught school for 15 years.

Mrs. Alexander was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1953-1957. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Hemet. Racquetball, golfing, weightlifting, biking, fishing and riding motorcycles were a few of her hobbies. She had been a greyhound bus driver in the past. At the time of her death, she was a homemaker.

The Cremation Society of Riverside County is handling funeral arrangements. She will be inurned at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside at a later date.

She is survived by her husband; a son, David Alexander of Barstow; three brothers, Edgar Alton Wilson Jr. of Orlando, Fla., Richard S. Wilson of La Mesa and Charles L. Wilson of Yorba Linda; and a sister, Patricia Ladd of Fort Lauderdale.
