June Elizabeth Heath, 81, of Idyllwild, died from cardiovascular disease on Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, in Idyllwild.

She was born Jan. 13, 1920, in Chicago and was a homemaker during her adult life.

She made many friends in Idyllwild and loved her family and was deeply loved by them.

She also enjoyed writing poetry and reading, as well as shopping in Idyllwild. Her poem, “Success,” was printed on her memorial folder at her service.

Services were held Nov. 3 at Little Church of the Flowers at Forest Lawn in Glendale. The Rev. John Barta officiated. Burial was at Forest Lawn.

Mrs. Heath is survived by a daughter, Sharon Heath Plummer of Palm Desert; a sister, Mary Dale of North Carolina; two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
