Ralph B. Hamilton, age 87, of Hemet passed away at home on Saturday, March 27, 2010. He was born Nov. 18, 1922 in Winnebago, Neb.

Ralph was a Fire Battalion Chief with the City of Downey Fire Department for 28 years.

He was preceded in death in May 2001 by his son, Thomas Hamilton.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Violet; son, Mark Hamilton; daughter, Kathleen Feste; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service and military honors will be held at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 6 at the Riverside National Cemetery, staging area #4. A memorial service will be held that afternoon in the Trinity Lutheran Church, 191 S. Columbia St., in Hemet. For time, contact Miller Jones Mortuary at (951) 658-3161.
