Idyllwild businessman Isaac Outland confirmed dead in suspected suicide

On Friday, June 24, the Riverside County Coroner’s Office confirmed the death of Isaac Outland, 68, as likely a suicide. In May Outland, owner of Wildwood — IGO7 Gallery in the Village Centre, was elected to the Idyllwild Chamber of Commerce.

Outland’s body was discovered on Wednesday, June 22, just after 10 a.m. at Lawler Lodge on Highway 243 in Stone Creek, north of Idyllwild. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office of Hemet is investigating the death by gunshot wound as a suicide.
