WEDNESDAY July 13

Lemon Lily Festival Open House Reception
5:30–7:30pm @ Idyllwild Nature Center
Open to the Community (no day use fee required)
• Appetizers & Drinks
• Festival Sponsor recognition program at 6pm
• Silent Art Auction (items on display in Community Room)

FRIDAY July 15

9am–4pm @ Idyllwild Nature Center
• Nature Center Store, Museum and nature trails
• Silent Art Auction (items displayed in Community Room)
• Artists/Vendors begin setup for the weekend
Lemon Lily Quilt ticket sales

5–8pm @ Town Hall
• Lemon Lily Festival information table
• Event schedules, festival information, commemorative items

A Taste of Idyllwild
5–7pm @ Town Hall
• One inclusive price ($10)
• Selections from various local restaurants

Line Dancing
6–8pm @ Town Hall
• Free and fun! Line dance lessons included.
• Instructors: Judi Way & Robert Peek

SATURDAY July 16

Lemon Lily Blessing
8am @Idyllwild Pines Camp by creek
• Led by local clergy

• Event schedules, festival information, commemorative items
• Booths with information from local nonprofit organizations

Lemon Lily Welcome Center
9am–4pm @ Caine Learning Center
• Festival information, restrooms, water, shuttle stop
• Parking available at the Center and across the street at the church

Art & Crafts Vendors & Displays
9am–4pm @ Idyllwild Nature Center
• Silent art auction (items on display in Community Room)
• Lemon Lily Festival information
• Event schedules, festival information, commemorative items
• Lemon Lily quilt ticket sales
• Nature Center Museum & Store
• Native plant sales
• Children’s nature crafts
• County Park nature trails
• Food and drinks, Mexican food, Kona Ice

Downtown Shops
9am–6pm @ Downtown Idyllwild
• Visit local shops for unique lemon lily items
• Pick up a walking map of participating shops at the Lemon Lily Festival information tables
Children’s Carnival Games

10am–3:30pm @ Idyllwild Nature Center
• Cupcake Walk, Bean Bag Toss, Penny on a Plate, Ping Pong Toss, Bug in a Bottle, Grace’s Game
• Additional cost for games played. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the San Jacinto Mountain County Parks

Pioneer Town
10am–4pm @ Town Hall
• Old-time crafts and activities for the family: Spinning, log cabin building, jug band, apple cider press, doll-making, gold panning, blacksmith, quilting, and more
• Meet famous personages from the turn of the 20th Century

All About the Lemon Lily
10-11am @ Idyllwild Nature Center
• Nature talk by Kate Kramer & Dave Stith

Guided Riparian Nature Walk
11am–noon @ Idyllwild Nature Center
• Take an easy hike in the County Park with botanist Dave Stith. See lemon lilies and other native plants in their natural habitat along Lilly Creek

Petting Zoo
11am–3pm @ Town Hall
• Tickets $2 each person
• Mingle and pet a miniature horse, a miniature alpaca and other young animals. Safe and gentle for all ages

Music with Don Reed
11:30am–3:30pm @ Idyllwild Nature Center

American Legion BBQ
11:30am–6pm @ Town Hall
• Hot dogs, hamburgers, fixin’s & drinks
• Proceeds will benefit the American Legion Post 800.

• $5/person, $10/family for tickets, map, guided tour. Tickets also available in advance at idyllwildgardenclub.net.
• View lemon lilies and other native plants growing streamside on private property in Fern Valley. Proceeds will benefit the beautification of Idyllwild

Old-time Hoedown with Dennis Riley & The Riley Mountaineers
6–8pm @ Town Hall
• Sing-along, dance a reel or two, kick up your heels. Square dance lessons included. Free and fun for the family!


SUNDAY July 17

Idyllwild Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast
8-11am @Town Hall
• Famous apple pancakes, ham, eggs, juice, coffee. Proceeds benefit the Idyllwild Rotary Club.

• Event schedules, festival information, commemorative items
• Booths with information from local nonprofit organizations

High Country Hike
9am–3pm @ Humber Park
• Take a moderate 6-7 mile hike to Saddle Junction and beyond in search of lemon lilies growing in the high country. Will be guided by botanists David Stith and Michael Wangler. Bring lunch/snacks and water
• Must RSVP in advance. (Email hikes@lemonlilyfestival.com with name(s) and age(s) of hikers.) Participation is limited to 20; first come, first served
