Photo: Cid Castillo On Friday, Sept. 16, the day before the 11th Annual Idyllwild Home Tour, members of the Idyllwild Area Historical Society, homeowners and docents gathered to prepare for the tour and coordinate the efforts of the docents preparing to host more than 400 people expected at the next day’s event. Residents acted as docents at homes whose owners opened their doors to visitors during the Idyllwild Area Historical Society 11th Annual Home Tour. People enjoy the uninterrupted view of Black Mountain and the Hemet Valley from the decks of one the homes on the Idyllwild Area Historical Society’s 11th Annual Home Tour. The Home Tour was again a success; this year more than 400 people visited one or more of the stops. Here, one of the local streets was completely filled with cars while the people enjoy the architecture and interior design.
