On Friday, Sept. 16, the day before the 11th Annual Idyllwild Home Tour, members of the Idyllwild Area Historical Society, homeowners and docents gathered to prepare for the tour and coordinate the efforts of the docents preparing to host more than 400 people expected at the next day’s event.

Residents acted as docents at homes whose owners opened their doors to visitors during the Idyllwild Area Historical Society 11th Annual Home Tour.

Bob and Gisela Stearns read the program and purchase their tour tickets outside the Historical Society’s Museum before heading to stop no. 1.

The Home Tour was again a success; this year more than 400 people visited one or more of the stops. Here, one of the local streets was completely filled with cars while the people enjoy the architecture and interior design.
