When I read the Town Talk last week [Nov. 10], asking people what they were doing to observe Veterans Day and if it had special meaning for them, tears streamed down my cheeks.
To think that there are people out there who will give their lives to protect my freedom. I can’t think of how I could ever repay them for their sacrifice, except to enjoy and appreciate what freedom brings, and always be grateful for those who make the ultimate sacrifice to keep me safe and free.
