The Idyllwild Fire Protection District Commission has scheduled a special meeting for 6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 30. The meeting will be at the Fire Station.
The agenda lists two items:
1. Interim Election of officers and
2. An annual evaluation of the fire chief.
The commission will recess into closed session to conduct the performance review. This is authorized by section54957 of the Brown Act, which says in part, “… nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed to prevent the legislative body of a local agency from holding closed sessions during a regular or special meeting to consider the appointment, employment, evaluation of performance, discipline, or dismissal of a public employee …”
