Town Hall Sports Coordinator Jeremy Teeguarden reported on Town Hall Adult volleyball for the week of Jan. 30.

In the Monday, Jan. 30, volleyball game, Idyllwild Chevron faced Pacific Slope Tree Co. Matt Boss and Justin Lehr hit well for their teams all match.

The match went back and forth. After four games, each team and two wins. In the fifth game, both teams had a chance to win. Chevron got the key points at the end and won the match 16-25, 25-20, 25-22, 16-25, 17-15.

On Tuesday Chevron played again, this time against Idyllwild Inn. The Inn got the early lead and never let it go. Paula Shirley and Tyla Friemoth set great for their teams. The Inn went on to win 25-20, 25-13, 25-10.

On Feb. 1, Wednesday night, the volleyball game was between Idyllwild Garage and Pacific Slope Tree Co. Both teams played tough all match. Pacific Slope’s Ryan Henninger had some big plays. The teams split the first two games. In the important third game, the Garage played tough and came away with a close win. Fred Espinoza had some nice sets for the Garage. The Garage went on won the match in four games; 25-20, 24-26, 25-20, 25-18.

Thursday night was the final volleyball game of the week. Forest Lumber faced Silver Pines Lodge. After losing the first game, Forest Lumber buckled down and played great the next two games barely losing the second game and wining the third game. Jeff Adams played strong for Forest Lumber. In the end Silver Pines was too tough as Dennis Fogle had some big plays that helped his team go on to win in four games; 25-12, 26-24, 23-25, 25,10.
