In its first meeting since December, the Idyllwild Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors discussed a need to rebuild its board and create a long-term plan for promoting local commerce and increasing the chamber’s overall health. Since quorum was not met, the board could take no action.

As previously reported in the Town Crier, Nick Todd has resigned as president. First Vice President Richmond Blake acceded to the presidency as stipulated in the chamber bylaws. Kim Mueller, previous director treasurer, has also resigned.

No action could be taken on filling officer positions but Blake assured colleagues that Joanne Slater had agreed to become first vice president and Lanny Hardy was willing to assume the treasurer post.
