On Friday, Feb. 24, Idyllwild resident Maureen Jones entered a lottery to win tickets to Oprah Winfrey’s Lifeclass in celebration of her 68th birthday.
On Sunday, Feb. 26, Jones received an email she thought was spam. Instead, it was notification that she’d won a ticket for herself and a guest to attend that class at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
Jones chose to bring her friend Bonnie Minkin, an artist originally from Idyllwild who now lives in New Hampshire.
The class will be taped on April 2 and features Deepak Chopra.
I believe Oprah just recently turned 58, not 68.
