Town Hall Sports Coordinator Jeremy Teeguarden reported on Town Hall Adult softball for the week of July 30.

On Monday, Creekstone Inn took on Ajax. Creekstone Inn played solid defense behind Rachel Teeguarden’s nice plays at second base. Creekstone’s Brennen Priefer and Ajax’s Kim Marcus each collected three hits. The game was tied entering the fifth inning when Creekstone Inn put together a big inning scoring five runs and won the game 10-6.

In Monday’s second game, Forest Lumber played Pacific Slope Tree Co., who were hot early as Jeff Donahoo collected three hits. Forest Lumber’s bats came alive too late and Pacific Slope won 15-8.

On Tuesday, Pacific Slope Tree Co. played against Café Aroma. Pacific Slope hit early and often. Noah Whitney led the scoring with three of Pacific Slopes 20 runs. For Café Aroma, Sandra McKimson hit great but they didn’t put enough hits together and Pacific Slope had an easy win of 20-4.

On Wednesday, two games wereplayed. In first game, Team Patty Perez met Café Aroma. The game was close until the third inning when Café Aroma had a seven-run inning. Merek Pramuka led the way with four hits and scored four runs. Café Aroma won the game 21-7.

Wednesday’s second game was between Forest Lumber and Creekstone Inn. Forest Lumber scored six runs in the second inning. Kendra Wines and Kayla Anderson led the way with several solid hits. Creekstone cut the lead to two runs in the bottom of the inning. But Forest Lumber continued to hit well for the whole game and won 23-9, which was Creekstone Inn’s first loss of the season.

On Thursday, Creekstone Inn came back and played Team Patty Perez, who plated six runs in the first inning. Ana Rincon scored a big run. Creekstone Inn got its bats going after that and Jessica Priefer scored five runs to help Creekstone Inn win 28-14.

On Friday, Ajax met Team Patty Perez. The game was close until the fourth inning when Ajax took control of the game. Maria Loutzenhiser had a great game scoring three runs and Ajax won the game 16-9.

Ajax then played a second game against Café Aroma. Jim Zimmerman pitched great for Ajax keeping Café Aroma off balance all game and Drew Marcus scored a couple of runs to help Ajax win 10-3.

On Saturday, Café Aroma and Ajax played again. This day, Café Aroma hit better and John Newman scored a couple runs. Ajax also hit better and Janey Espinoza scored three runs to lead Ajax to another victory 16-8.
