While reading the Town Crier online this morning [Nov. 1], I noticed that your listing for Proposition 30 says something on the order of “Gov. Brown’s Bill To Fund Education.”

After recently registering and reading the propositions, I find your description misleading. The bill doesn’t guarantee one thin dime for education. Instead, it is a tax increase meant to prevent further cuts to education funding.

I know it is too late to change the description in the paper, but in fairness I think you should modify the website’s description of Proposition 30 to more accurately portray the intent of the bill.
