Nancy Nunez, proprietor of Nancy’s Boutique, returns to Idyllwild after a nine-month absence, this time in a new location next to INK Book Gathering on North Circle. Nunez said she retains her other store on State Street in Carlsbad Village and is happy to be back on the Hill. “I like the new location,” Nunez said. Nunez now occupies what had been Nick Todd’s Tara Insurance office. Nunez continues with her own jewelry line, handmade gift items Cactus T-shirts for women and JoStar travel clothing.

Billy Walls, new Creekside Postal owner, has moved from his Fern Valley Corners location directly next to Nunez, in what had been Mountain Paws pet boutique. Mountain Paws moved across the street to a larger location. Walls is hoping his location near town shops will impel tourist shoppers to ship purchases from his location. “If they buy gifts in Idyllwild, they can ship from my location,” said Walls. Walls plans to complete his move by Wednesday, Nov. 28.

And continuing the shuffle, B.J. Johns’ Idyllwild Property Management will complete a move into Creekside Postal’s Fern Valley Corners location as of Dec. 22. Also moving is Johns’ husband’s business Idyllwild Barber Shop. Ed Pyncombe is Johns’ barber husband.

And lastly, therapist Kent Weishaus returns to the Hill and will provide counseling services to residents as well as acting as school counselor at Idyllwild Arts Academy.
