Supplies are lower than usual this year at the HELP Center. In the spirit of the holidays, we would like to encourage our neighbors on the Hill to join us in contributing generously to those who are in need.

The HELP Center particularly needs the following: food, nonperishable, nonexpired, unopened personal care and hygiene items, clean and usable towels, warm socks, long underwear or thermals, hot drink cups, manual can openers, sleeping bags, tarps and tents.

The HELP Center Thrift Store is also in need of warm clothing now, as well as clothing of all kinds (especially men’s and children’s), kitchenware and usable furniture.

Physical donations may be dropped off at the HELP Center Thrift Store, 26330 Highway 243 in Idyllwild from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., any day of the week.

Monetary donations may be mailed to the HELP Center at P.O. Box 660, Idyllwild, CA 92549.

The HELP Center is open from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday to Friday.

If you have any questions, please call the HELP Center office at (951) 659-2110.

Let’s comb through our cupboards, closets, and pantries and show this community how much we care.
