Paws up. All four paws and snouts and noses front and center. Have you heard the news? Winston, our American Staffordshire, has found a new forever home. Originally found in a snow storm, thin and cold, and obviously abandoned, this guy has wiggled and wagged through to prove that he was all about the love. Not a dry eye here in saying goodbye to the biggest chocolate-covered furball that ever entered the ARF house. We all love you Winston, forever.

Enjoying a new home this week also are Momma Sandy and Midnight. Sandy is the Chihuahua mix that successfully raised four of the most gorgeous puppies who were all adopted. And Midnight is our tuxedo cat with amazing eyes. Paws up to you and tears of joy for you both. You will be missed every day.
Double your love — cats are two-for-one until March.

Introducing the Valentine’s Gang, our five new residents at ARF. Left in a crate on the porch, they are all friendly and healthy. We have Furball Bill, Heavenly Whiskers, Clarence, Judy and Cupcake.

They range from young teens to adult and each is very unique in their coloring. Often they can be found all cuddled and stacked on one another, so they clearly are litter mates. Clarence, the white Siamese mix has crossed blue eyes and a clubpaw, and he is the friendliest of all; and he’s probably the youngest.

Oreo is happy for Sandy, but sad too. They were such good buddies and could often be seen side by side catching a few rays of sun together. With a little patience, some lucky human will enjoy a lifetime of love with Oreo. He is a bit shy at first.
