Maya Lea, Idyllwild Arts alumna, performs her one-woman original play about sex trafficking in the United States, titled “For Sale.” The event was a great success and $2,300 was raised for Operation Safe House in Temecula.

Trine Bietz, organizer of the event “Celebration of Women in the Arts,” views one of the pieces of art, “The Price of Peace,” donated by artist Brandi Mills. Art was auctioned to raise money for Operation Safe House in Temecula and to bring greater awareness to the growing cruel business of human trafficking. The Soroptimist International of Idyllwild sponsored the event held at the Rainbow Inn. Photos by Careena Chase
