Diamond Schiffers, 43, of Florida, riding a 2012 Yamaha duel-sport, hit Michael Kalmutzki’s pick-up. Mercy Air took her to the Desert Regional Medical Center with serious injuries involving fractures. Kalmutzki, 52, of Pinyon Hills, was uninjured.

Tony Lawson, 37, of Washington, complained of pain after her 2011 Harley-Davidson went down, but she was not transported.

Dawn Schoemaker, 48, also of Washington, also crashed her 2009 Yamaha VStar but was uninjured.
