King of the Cage, an internationally broadcast Mixed Martial Arts company, is returning to Soboba Casino in San Jacinto on Sunday, March 15. In a broadcast event in the 10,000-seat Soboba Arena.

In 2008, after 43 events and eight years of watching both Soboba Casino and King of the Cage grow as companies together, it was over as quick as it began as both entities parted ways. KOTC is coming home to Soboba where the first major events in California were held.

"It’s like marrying your high-school girlfriend six years later,” said Terry Trebilcock, CEO and founder of KOTC. “It just doesn't get any better. Many historical moments in MMA were born in San Jacinto CA, and many of the biggest stars in modern-day MMA spent integral parts of their careers at Soboba. Numerous articles in the past show the history of how MMA survived its toughest years, much because of the investment of Soboba Casino and the hard work of so many involved”.

“We are so excited about bringing King of the Cage back to our casino,” said Scott Sirois, general manager of Soboba. “With us celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2015, it couldn’t be a better time to re-unite with the finest MMA organization and hosting a world-class nationally televised event for our guests.”

March 15 is the first of what could be rumored of as many as 25 events over the next five years.

After performing more than 500 events since its inception in 1998, KOTC has promoted hundreds of shows globally, including in the United States and far-reaching countries such as England, Singapore, South Africa, Canada, Japan, Australia and Philippines.

KOTC has been a career staple for countless stars, including Forrest Griffin, Quinton Rampage Jackson, Rashad Evans, Ronda Rousey, Krazy Horse, Keith Jardine, Mac Danzig, Urijah Faber, Joe Stevenson and Diego Sanchez.

Details of the March 15 event will be posted at www.kingofthecage.com when available.
