A solo motorcycle crash resulted in moderate to major injuries to the rider over the weekend.
Aguss Aguss Tio, 28, of Indio, crashed a 2015 Yamaha motorcycle on Highway 74 a half-mile west of Vista Point near Pinyon Sunday morning, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Trinidad. The collision occurred about 10:30 a.m.
He suffered a broken leg, said Trinidad. REACH Air Ambulance transported him to Desert Regional Medical Center.
Cause of the collision is still under investigation.
