The eastbound lane of the new Hurkey Creek Bridge at Lake Hemet on Highway 74 opened Saturday, Nov. 14, switching thru-traffic from the westbound lane (where Caltrans is now working to replace that half of the bridge). The Idyllwild Association of Realtors held its annual dinner Thursday, Nov. 12, at the Mountain Center Café. The 2016 IAOR Board of Directors was sworn in during the event. The 55th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and day long festivities will be held Saturday, Nov. 28 starting at 10 a.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Photo by John Drake

Momo had the magazine rack on the floor and Isla scooted over to the magazine rack and grabbed up the Town Crier. “She has good taste and I guess your newspaper must taste good, too,” said Momo.
