The Art Alliance of Idyllwild will feature more than 45 local artists in its Winter Lane Pop-Up Gallery. The one-week event features an artist reception and open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, in the Village Lane.

Open to the public, the Village Lane Open House will feature holiday music by Luann Carman, a resident pianist, and a selection of tasty treats created by Bake and Brew.  While sipping a glass of wine or hot-spiced cider tea, attendees will be able to stroll between the two gallery storefronts and visit other merchants.

To add to the holiday ambience, Doug Austin, Fire Chief Patrick Reitz and Christina Reitz will join the festivities in authentic Victorian costuming.

The Winter Lane Pop-Up Gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily between Saturday, Dec. 12 and Sunday, Dec. 20 at 54200 North Circle Dr.

In addition to supporting the featured artists, AAI is encouraging visitors to shop at local Idyllwild businesses and galleries.
