Q. I’m 71. I had a tooth pulled, and I need a bridge or an implant. Which is more fashionable?

A. I’m 71, also. When my dentist told me I needed a bridge or an implant, I asked him, “What’s the difference?” He said, “Well, a bridge will last you maybe 15 to 20 years, but an implant will last you your whole life.” I asked him, “So, what’s the difference?”
Q. What kind of undershorts should an older guy wear?

A. If your athletic years are behind you, you can’t go wrong with tartan-plaid boxer shorts. They look like swim trunks. You can answer the front door in ’em.
