Early Monday evening, first responders, including Cal Fire Station 23 (Pine Cove), Idyllwild Fire Department and American Medical Response, were alerted to an injured hiker near Tahquitz Rock.
Firefighters hiked to the injured woman and helped her to the AMR ambulance at Humber Park, which transported her to a local hospital for treatment of moderate to minor injuries, according to the Riverside County Fire Department press release.
She was a member of a party of five hikers, said Cal Fire Capt. Mark Gilmore.
