Poll workers are needed at voting locations throughout Riverside County for the upcoming Nov. 8 general election.

Poll workers may earn up to $125 as precinct inspectors or $90 as precinct officers.

No experience is required and the Registrar of Voters office will provide the necessary training. Poll workers must attend a training class to familiarize themselves with election day. Workers in both posts will receive another stipend for attending the training class.

The Registrar of Voters also is seeking individuals proficient in English and at least one of the following languages: Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, Vietnamese or American Sign Language.

Anyone who wishes to participate as a poll worker should call the Registrar of Voters office at 951-486-7341 or 877-663-9906.
