Many years ago, the residents of Idyllwild approved a tax measure that funded local recreation within a specific geographical area (referred to as Community Service Area 36 or CSA 36). An oversight committee was formed to ensure the tax money was spent on activities the community desired.

The CSA 36 committee conducts public meetings on a regular basis in order to keep in touch with public concerns and to discuss current recreational programs. (CSA 36 money also funds some street lighting.)

The next scheduled meeting is at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 23. The meeting will take place at Town Hall.

The CSA 36 committee welcomes those who are able to attend. For those citizens who are unable to attend but would like to contact a committee member, you may do so by email. The email address for the chairman of CSA 36 is [email protected].
