Free county pick up Sept. 30
The Household Hazardous Waste Disposal returns to Idyllwild from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30. The location is the County Road Facility at 25780 Johnson Road, just past the Idyllwild Fire Station.
On that day, local residents may bring a plethora of potentially hazardous materials to the site for collection. (See attached list of acceptable materials.)
Unacceptable items include ammunition, explosives, asbestos, appliances, tires and containers larger than 5 gallons or weighing more than 50 pounds.
