Nine Patrons and 60 Sponsors grace the Town Crier’s Membership list into this new year. These are folk with the means and willingness to give considerably more toward saving and supporting the Town Crier for our community. The TC now has nine Patron members at $500 [Scott Bump & Cynthia Grady; Morgan Cannon; Kitty Kieley Hayes; Pamela Jordan & Christopher Scott; Ron Luebbert; The Mills Family; Dave & Shanna Robb, and two Anonymous]. And so far 60 Members (see listing below) chose to become Sponsors, more than doubling their basic Membership contribution — again, all toward the goal of keeping a real local newspaper serving our Hill.

Next week we salute our Sustaining Readers, the basic backbone of our Memberships, currently 295 strong.
Please remember that the TC’s weekly news meeting, where we decide on the next week’s stories, is open to the entire public at the Town Crier’s office at 54405 North Circle Drive. Some folk have been attending and contributing for years. After this Wednesday morning’s Jan. 10 meeting, the next news meeting will be Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 8:30 a.m.
