Caltrans plans to work on Highway 243 this week resulting in a lane closure. Until Friday, Jan. 19, Caltrans will be doing emergency work on Highway 243 between Alpine Way in Pine Cove to about a half mile south of Alpine Way.
The expected time each day is from 6:01 a.m. to 5:01 p.m.
No further explanation of the emergency work was provided.
Caltrans also will be at work on Apple Canyon Road in Garner Valley from Highway 74 to the Old Control Road. Apple Canyon Road may be limited to one lane from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Jan. 17 to 19.
Also, work is scheduled on Highway 79 from Highway 371 west to Temecula Creek on Wednesday and Thursday this week.
