This headline shows needless and unacceptable partisanship for the front page when it mentions President Trump’s name. Many others were involved in developing the changes. (Yes, I know the “buck” stops in the Oval Office.)
It is an unfortunate example of the news media’s biased handling of news regarding Mr. Trump, now the president.
He promised a reduction of spending and a bona fide attempt to eliminate the “swamp” in Washington. He is true to his promises and is doing what he can to benefit our great country, and in spite of all the obstacles — intentional or otherwise — and the news media.
This biased headline belongs in the “opinion” section and not elsewhere.
My apologies to Mr. Crumrine. I admire his work quality and quantity.
