A 40-year-old Mira Loma man riding a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Highway 74 died when he lost control of his bike and crossed over the double yellow lines, directly into the path of a white Toyota Sienna van driven by a Mountain Center man, according to a California Highway Patrol press release.

The motorcycle driver's name, Dustin Blair, was released by the Riverside County Coroner's office. The front of the Toyota, driven by Christopher Fife, 46, collided with the motorcycle. Blair was ejected from his seat onto the roadway surface and sustained fatal injuries after colliding with the front of the Toyota. Alcohol and/or drugs have not been ruled out as contributing factors in the cause of this collision. No other vehicles were involved in the collision. The incident is being investigated by CHP Officer Murawski.
