The whole purpose of the Membership model was to turn the Town Crier into a viable, ongoing newspaper that can be acquired and continued by younger publishers. You, our readers, have responded in droves, clearly voicing that you want a vibrant, genuine community newspaper continuing to serve our community. We are not far from reaching that goal, and we still have 16 weeks to go in this first year of the Membership model.
We are now actively advertising the availability of the Town Crier to the newspaper industry, both in California and nationwide. We want to find the right people to continue to publish to TC for our Hill community.
The Town Crier’s news meetings are open to the public. Please join us each Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. at the TC office at North Circle and Cedar. Come to the meetings and tell us what you want. We listen.
