Jax

Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” Panther introduced new ARF dog Baby.

Caboose

Panther: Wow, have I got lots to share today.

Indigo: Everyone is here, so let’s have it!

Panther: Baby the dog was adopted last week, and Shay will be staying with his foster.

Mr. Gray: So, no more dogs?

Panther: Wrong! ARF now has six dogs!

Pepper: Holy moly. Tell us about them.

Panther: Here goes. First is Freda, who was originally an ARF dog. Her favorite human passed away so she is back with us. She is a Basenji-Chihuahua-mix, about 7 years old. She is happily living with three dogs and two cats at her foster’s house,

and she is house trained. Then there is Waffles. Waffles is a Skye terrier-mix who is really young, maybe a year old. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs and is very affectionate.

Mr. Gray: Who else?

Panther: Zoe and Jax are terrier-mixes so are looking for their new forever home since their human passed away. Zoe is a sweet little girl, about 5 years old, and Zoe is a 2-year-old boy. Both are excellent with other dogs and with cats, and they are house trained.

Indigo: I’ll tell about the other two dogs.  They are young, female Rottweilers named Caboose and Donut. They are very sweet girls who love to play. They seem indifferent about us felines and are good around children. They seem to be really good with other dogs, too.

Panther:  Oh, and I almost forgot. The last kitten was adopted. Yay! And ARF is expecting a litter of eight

Waffles

kittens in another week or so.

Zoe

Indigo: And ARF will have a mini-adoption fair at Mountain Paws this Saturday from noon to 4 p.m., so everyone may meet these great dogs.

Be sure to keep up with the animal antics of “Days of Our Nine Lives” each week. And please stop in to say hello to the entire adoptable cast at the ARF House, 26890 Hwy. 243 on Saturdays 10-4 and Sundays 10-2, or by appointment M-F by calling 951-659-1122.
