Since it began Tuesday afternoon, the fire has burned 2,681 acres and destroyed four structures. Share/BookmarkCAL FIRE status update, as of 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16 for the Buck Fire expects full containment by Saturday, Aug. 18. The fire is 60 percent contained as of this reporting and firefighters continue to make good progress towards containment.
