Interfaith Service of Solace this Friday
Saddened by pain or loss in this “most wonderful time of the year?” Moving through the darkness of pain or loss while others are merry and celebrating?
You’re not the only one and you need not be alone.
You are invited to the Interfaith Service of Solace for an easing of the sadness and a restoration of light at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at St. Hugh’s Episcopal Church. Masks are welcome but not required.
Participants include St. Hugh’s Episcopal Church, Spirit Mountain Retreat Center, Temple Har Shalom, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Islamic Center of Hemet, the Buddhist community, the Hindu community, the Baha’i Faith and many others.
If there are any faith tradition representatives or individuals who may wish to participate in the planning of this event, call Mary at 951-634-4048.
