On Wednesday night, Sept. 12, three chainsaws were taken from the trailer on the Idyllwild HELP Center property. The Mountain Communities Fire Safe Council\u2019s Woodies contingent stores its equipment, which is used to cut and split firewood for the HELP Center\u2019s clientele, in the trailer.<\/p>\n
This is second attack on the Woodies\u2019 equipment. Earlier this summer, someone tried unsuccessfully to remove the motor from their wood splitter.<\/p>\n
The value of the stolen saws is about $700, according to Chris Kramer, FSC first vice president.<\/p>\n
