Photo by Cid Castillo<\/figcaption><\/figure><br \/>\nRiverside County Sheriff's deputies responded to what appeared to be a suicide early Wednesday, June 22, at Lawler Lodge, 19751 Hwy. 243 in Stone Creek.<\/p>\n<p>The lodge is closed, but Riverside County Regional Parks and Open Space District Supervisor (corrected) Jim Davis stopped when he saw an SUV parked on the side of the building. He discovered the body of an individual who appears to have died due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.<\/p>\n<p>The SUV is a dark blue GMC Yukon.
