Sunday, Sept. 27, Soboba Casino in San Jacinto will be the first casino ever to give away a tiny home as its grand prize. With millions of Americans looking to downsize their lives and lessen their carbon footprint, tiny home living is gaining huge traction nationally.<\/p>\n

A tiny home built by Rich\u2019s Portable Cabins of North Powder, Oregon, that will be featured on an episode of HGTV\u2019s \u201cTiny House Hunters\u201d in October 2015, will be given away during Soboba Casino\u2019s \u201cLiving Large in a Tiny Home\u201d promotion in September. According to Michael J. Broderick, Soboba\u2019s Director of Marketing, \u201cTiny homes are making a big impact in popular culture today, and Soboba Casino wants to be a part of that. We can\u2019t think of a better way to be socially conscious and have an exciting grand prize for our guests at the same time. While other casinos are trying to \u2018go big\u2019; we realize that our customers want us to \u2018go tiny\u2019 and that is just what we did.\u201d<\/p>\n

To enter for a chance to win, guests must earn 500 points with their Club Soboba Card on the promotion day between the hours of 12:01 a.m. and 9:59 p.m. Guests also will have a chance to win a bonus entry into the drawing by participating in the Tiny Home Giant Free Play promotion. On Saturday and Sunday, two winners will be drawn every half hour to receive $1,000 in Free Slot Play and a bonus entry for the tiny home drawing.<\/p>\n
