<\/b>Middle Ridge Winery Tasting Gallery, is once again introducing a new art exhibit in its 4,000-square-foot gallery. Appropriately called\u00a0\u201cThe Idyllwild Collection: Synchronicity<\/span>,\u201d the exhibit features a variety of mediums and styles, all of which are designed to delight the viewer by capturing a moment in time where purpose meets imagination.<\/p>\n

The exhibit includes more than 200 works of art created by 34 artists, nine of whom are being featured in the Tasting Gallery for the first time. \u201cWe are thrilled to share the work of some of Southern California\u2019s most talented artists in our new exhibit,\u201d said Melody Johnston who, along with her husband and winemaker Chris, opened Middle Ridge Winery Tasting Gallery to create a space where their love of wine and love of art could come together. \u201cWe invite art lovers to let the art speak to them as they catch a glimpse of the timeless place where beauty and technique meet in the mind and hands of the artist.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

With exhibits that rotate every three months, new artists and works are featured regularly in the Tasting Gallery.\u00a0Five artists are brand new to Idyllwild with this exhibit: abstract painter Bryan Boomershine of Palm Springs, stained glass artist Barry DeCola of Joshua Tree, abstract painter Lar Greene of Palm Desert, photographer Per Lind of Los Angeles, and mosaic artist Alison Parma of Joshua Tree.<\/p>\n

Being featured for the first time in the Tasting Gallery are photographer Steven King of Idyllwild, and three faculty members from the Idyllwild Arts Academy \u2014 ceramics artist Daniel Donovan, abstract painter Don Reed and printmaker Linda Lucia Santana.<\/p>\n

The \u201cAfternoon with the Artists\u201d reception is open to the public from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 21. Visitors will have the opportunity to sip, talk and walk through the Tasting Gallery while getting to know the artists.<\/p>\n

The soft-rock guitar and R&B sounds of Jac Jacaruso and Sandii Castleberry will echo through the gallery from 2 to 6 p.m. Middle Ridge Winery invites visitors to \u201cspend the afternoon and with us, and the day in Idyllwild.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
