Earl Allison Johns, 93, of Riverside, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at Plymouth Towers in Riverside.<\/p>\n
Mr. Johns was born in Globe, Ariz. He lived in Riverside for 60 years.<\/p>\n
Prior to that, he lived in Idyllwild, Elsinore and Hemet.<\/p>\n
Mr. Johns was a sales technician for 30 years. He managed the Calelectric Power Company in Idyllwild during the 1930s.<\/p>\n
Mr. Johns and his wife Lucille had fond memories of Idyllwild and the cabin they stayed in every weekend. Idyllwild continued to be one of their favorite places to visit.<\/p>\n
He was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Riverside and was a Mason.<\/p>\n
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lucille; a daughter, Patricia Altman of West Covina; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
