California Highway Patrol is seeking information on a hit-and-run collision that occurred in Idyllwild on Tuesday, Jan. 24. Ian Schoenleber, Idyllwild resident and Annual Fund Director at Idyllwild Arts, was westbound on Tollgate Road when a red Dodge Durango that had been stopped at a stop sign on Meadow Glen, pulled out directly in front of him, causing him to hit the passenger side of the vehicle and disabling Schoenleber\u2019s new Toyota Tundra. <\/p>\n
According to Schoenleber, the Durango sped away. His vehicle was not driveable. Responding California Highway Patrol officer Ron Esparza took the report. The Dodge Durango would have major right side damage and broken windows.
