Kenneth Aaron McCaghren, known to his friends as \u201cJerome,\u201d passed away May 12, 2001, at his home in Bullhead City, Ariz. He was 71.<\/p>\n
Mr. McCaghren lived in Idyllwild from 1940 to 1970. He was known for his accomplished craftsmanship in masonry and general construction throughout Idyllwild and the desert area.<\/p>\n
He belonged to the volunteer fire departments of Idyllwild and Bullhead City for many years, and had recently served on the Fort Mojave Fire Department Board of Directors.<\/p>\n
Mr. McCaghren is survived by his children, Scott McCaghren of Mesa, Ariz., Hurley McCaghren of Hemet, and Janet Woods and Jennifer Klingaman of Idyllwild; and 15 grandchildren.<\/p>\n
Services are scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday, May 25, at Desert Lawn Funeral Home, 9250 S. Ranchero Lane, Mojave Valley, Ariz.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
