Randy Roy Chaney
Randy Roy Chaney, 26, of Las Vegas, Nev., died Aug. 13, 2011, in Las Vegas. The son of Rick and Leslie Chaney of Idyllwild, he was born July 5, 1985, in Palm Desert, Calif.

Randy attended Idyllwild School and Hemet High, where he was a member of the Thespian Club, winning acting awards. He worked as a plumber’s assistant and teacher. He was a member of Kennedy United Methodist Church.

Randy is survived by his wife, Amy, and sons Nicholas and Lucas, of Palm Springs; his father and mother, Rick and Leslie Chaney; brother Peter Chaney of Fresno, sister Amanda Marquez of Las Vegas; and aunt Kathleen Chaney of Idyllwild.

A Celebration of Life for Randy will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25 at 52571 Sunset in Pine Cove. A prayer garden has been created in Randy’s honor. Bring something to add to it in his memory.
