Interim IFPD Fire Chief Mike Sherman signing his contract at the commission meeting Tuesday night.

Last night, Jan. 10, retired Crest Forest Fire Chief Mike Sherman agreed to become the interim Fire Chief for the Idyllwild Fire Protection District.

He agreed to contract terms during the regular January commission meeting and the signed the contract after the meeting.
