Ashton Caldwell Stuart, 1, was born March 10, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. He passed away Saturday, May 30, 2009, in that city.

“Don’t think of him as gone away, his journey’s just begun; life holds so many facets, this Earth is only one. Just think of him as resting from the sorrow and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort, where there are no days or years.

“Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched, for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much.”

A memorial service is scheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at Lakeview Community Church in Lake Havasu City. Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in Lake Havasu City.

Ashton was preceded in death by his brother, Brody Russell Stuart. He is survived by his parents, Adam Stuart and Crystal Meyer, both of Idyllwild and Lake Havasu City; a brother, Scott Stuart and two sisters, Natasha and Brianna Stuart, all of Lake Havasu City; uncles and aunts, Jared Meyer and Lacy Snow of Lake Havasu City, and Kyle Harmon and Jenny Conroy of New York, N.Y.; and grandparents Brad and Beth Meyer of Lake Havasu City, and Elizabeth Harmon of Newport Beach. He is also survived by his great grandparents, George and Wilma Meyer of Lake Havasu City, and John and Catherine Gibson of Surfside Beach, S.C.

“Our ‘bubbies,” wrote his family. “You touched so many lives, and we will miss you so much. We know you are in heaven playing with your little brother Brody. One day we will all be together again. Until then, you are forever in our hearts.

“Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted,” Matthew 5:4.
