Town Crier learned that Tawny Crist, 71, of Banning, formerly of Idyllwild, died in a two-vehicle collision after her car drifted off the roadway, hit a tree, flipped and slid into an oncoming vehicle. Two people in the other car suffered minor injuries. The crash occurred near Lagunitas in Marin County, California, Friday evening.
Marge Muir, one of Idyllwild’s most iconic and esteemed residents, who has lived on the Hill for 53 years, and been involved as a volunteer in more boards and service organizations than most can remember, turns 80 years young on Sunday, Nov. 13. Happy Birthday Marge!
