Elisabeth Wilhelmina Jaspers-Fayer

On Friday, April 18 2014, Elisabeth Wil- helmina Jaspers-Fayer peacefully passed. Born on Sept. 3, 1928, in Eindhoven, Netherlands, our dear Elisabeth came to California in 1961 with her two children and husband Jan. They moved from Palos Verdes to Idyllwild and resided there for 34 years.

Over the years, she was very active as a volunteer and member of the Idyllwild Nature Center, Idyllwild Garden Club, Community Church, Idyllwild School of the Arts and Rotary Club along with her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Jan; her sister, Annie Tenney; her two daughters, Anita (David) Dixon and Marian Jaspers-Fayer, and extended family; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at the Idyllwild Community Church.
