Bryan and Brandy Asch are celebrating REPS Training Mountain Center’s first anniversary on Oct. 15.

Windean Dahleen’s Idyology restaurant opens at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, in the former Creek House location in Fern Valley.

The comfort cuisine with a global flair is served until 11 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday, with the bar open for late-nighters after 11 p.m. The restaurant and pub is open Mondays on three-day weekends.

“The only creek-side restaurant in Idyllwild brings our globally inspired ambience and food with a unique hillbilly, mountain lovin’ twist,” said Dahleen. “While we embrace organic, locally farmed foods and the freshest ingredients, we also strive to deliver a fun and hip, relaxing, backwoods experience with fervor.”

Vegans, vegetarians and meat lovers alike will find something on the menu.

Oscar and Gabriella Piñeiro will be the new owners of Arriba Mexican Restaurant on Oct. 25.

They plan to keep the same style menu with possibly some Cuban-style dishes added sometimes.

The couple also plans to open a Caribbean restaurant in Banning at some point in the future.
