Leslie Pimentel (second from right), with her father Pablo (left) and mother Maria, was honored for being the Idyllwild School Seventh Grade Citizen of the Year by the Idyllwild Rotary Club. The award was accompanied by a $100 scholarship, which Rotarian Scott Fisher (right) presented at the April 13 weekly meeting. The Idyllwild Middle School teachers selected Leslie because she is an outstanding citizen who conducts herself with honor and integrity and displays a positive demeanor on a daily basis.
